TTA-ISO Grafter nominated for Theme Prize ‘Future-proof technologies’ 2025
TTA-ISO, with its High Speed Grafter, is one of three finalists for the ‘Future-proof technologies’ Theme Prize.

TTA-ISO, with its High Speed Grafter, is one of three finalists for the ‘Future-proof technologies’ Theme Prize. This award, presented by the board of the Horticultural Entrepreneurship Award Foundation, recognizes innovative technologies and entrepreneurship that are shaping the future of the horticultural sector.
Each year, some 10 billion plants are grafted worldwide - a highly precise and labor-intensive process. Due to increasing labor shortages, automation is becoming increasingly necessary. With the High Speed Grafter, TTA-ISO offers a future-proof solution: an intelligent grafting robot that makes plant grafting faster, more precise and more sustainable.
With this technology, TTA-ISO responds to the growing need for efficient and scalable solutions within horticulture. The nomination for the theme award underlines the impact of the High Speed Grafter on the future of sustainable food production.
Martin Maasland, CEO of TTA-ISO: "It is a complex machine that can graft up to 4,000 plants per hour, with several robotic arms, vision cameras and AI to analyze the images. Grafting allows you to combine the traits of two different varieties of the same fruiting vegetable, which is what many growers want. In doing so, you make the plant more resilient and the crop more sustainable."
